Getting started

Now that installation is done, set up for your program is very quick.

If you see this pop up, be sure to check both boxes and click "Allow access" as shown:

The same goes for any other defensive software (anti-virus, anti-[this or that]) you may have running on your PC. This program must be allowed or it won't work properly.

If you are upgrading on the same computer, this specially modified mIRC should detect that previous version and give you a chance to easily add your other files to your new shared list.

Three pieces of information are needed from you to finish your installation of mIRC for TCKG 7:

• Your name (First and Last)
• Your email address
• Your username (also known as 'nickname')

Be sure to carefully enter each item. Username and email address should match the ones in our records. Your password is generated automatically and you will never need it to log in. The program takes care of identifying you each time you connect.
